ABOUT DISTRICT
The name Sircilla is derived from sirishala(meaning centre of wealth). It is a town and the district headquarters of Rajanna Sircilla district in the Indian state of Telangana. It is located on the banks of Maneru River in the Sircilla mandal of the Sircilla revenue division. It is popularly known as Textile town due to the presence of large number of power looms, textile processing and dyeing units. Rajanna Sircilla is carved out of erstwhile Karimnagar district and was formed on 11 Oct 2016. It is surrounded by Karimnagar, Kamareddy and Siddipet Districts.
